The past few weeks have been a whirlwind! We celbrated Hailey's first birthday on June 27th so that we could accomodate family, although she actually turned one on June 30th. We had a rubber ducky themed party including a ducky-bath tub cake and a ducky pinata! We had a lot of fun and it wore Hailey out completely!
This past week she had her 12 month check up appointment. She weighs 20 lbs 3 oz and is no longer in preemie measurements! She is well within range of "norm"-whatever that is. No more 5th percentile for this girl! According to the Denver Developmental scale she has learned all of her 12 and 15 month skills and a few 18 month ones too-Now if only she would take a freaking sippy cup!!!!!!
Also at this visit she had a few more shots-including the chicken pox vacc that has given her spots all over her! Doc said they aren't contagious, but they sure don't look comfortable! Thank goodness for Aveeno Colloidal Oatmeal bath soak!

We had an absolute blast coming to the party and seeing you guys again. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and for the cute card. We just got it yesterday. Hopefully the spots won't last to long....
