March for Babies.... April 18th!

I have banded together with a special team of people who care about the health of America's babies to raise money and participate in the March of Dimes March for Babies. I am asking you to join our fundraising efforts today by sponsoring my event.
Contributing online is fast, easy, and secure. You can donate directly from my personal webpage with a credit/debit card or PayPal. If you prefer, I can also accept cash or check. Just click the appropriate box on my webpage.
The money we raise helps save premature and sick babies. Premature birth is the #1 cause of newborn death and the biggest threat to babies' health today, and through March for Babies, the March of Dimes is funding important research to find out why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it. There's nothing more important than to give every baby a healthy start in life. We need your help. Please join us in the fight against prematurity. Visit my webpage and sponsor me in the event that saves babies!

With your support, there's hope.
Thank You!

The March of Dimes mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

On a personal note, having my own preemie opened my eyes to the dangers of an early birth. Although my baby developed quickly and for the better, the fear of those first 48 hours can never be erased from memory. I am truly grateful for the NICU nurses who truly loved Hailey and made sure she had every possible chance for recovery. March of Dimes is a great organization and I am so excited to participate, but need some support. I have a personal goal of only $100.00. Our team has a goal of $600.00. Some people have donated only $0.25 a mile-we will walk 4.3 miles that's a total of $1.10 for the event for those people. Every little bit helps!!! Thank you!!!

Nothing New Here

Since I haven't caught up on this thing in weeks I guess I better give you all a little update...nothing new! Hailey is growing so fast and out of her clothes at record speed. I think she really will finally catch up to "normal" by one year. She weighed 14 lbs at her 6 mth check up the beg. of Jan.-finally into the 10th percentile! The past week or so she has taken to solid foods like a champ! But man-can't wait for the diaper days to be over! Her favorite places to be are in her jumper or exersaucer (?) thing, and being held by her daddy. Hmmm-for being so busy I really don't have anything interesting to say today. Well, I went to basketball homecoming at RS (where I used to be their athletic trainer) they were playing WCA (where I also worked as their athletic trainer). I learned two things... parents and athletes do miss me and did appreciate the work I did, and I have never been so sure that quiting my job to stay home was the right thing to do. (I should have known that already, but it's good to get confirmation). Well-Hailey's up and at em from a nap so that's it for now!
